Mitchell previously was a Partner in Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner (GTCR) and, before that, the president and CEO of The Field Corporation and its predecessor, Field Enterprises, Inc., which owned and operated businesses in newspaper and educational publishing (including the Chicago Sun-Times and My Weekly Reader), direct marketing, television (including stations in Chicago and San Francisco), cable television and commercial real estate. Based in Chicago, he participated in forming the firm in 1998. Lee Mitchell is a Managing Partner at Thoma Bravo. Seth earned his MBA from Stanford University and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University School of Business.

Seth also worked as an analyst with investment bank Credit Suisse in Toronto. He previously was part of the investment team at Summit Partners, where he was involved in private equity investments in the technology and business services sectors.
